Data & Paper Form Migration
- Review existing business plan, paper forms and existing computer application to match with the electronic process of interfaceMD to determine where customization is required
- Scan any document or preprinted form and be able to write on it with electronic ink AND print data onto it from interfaceMD
- Determine which parts of the system will be used at startup and which parts of the system will not be used until a future date based on needs of practice
EMR Startup
- Provider can write onto paper and scan it into EMR
- Provider can scan paper forms to electronic image and write on it with electronic ink
- Provider uses custom exam form to document exams, generate SOAP notes, update EMR history and share data with follow-up exams

Training
- Develop PC and interfaceMD training curriculum based on needs of users
- Anticipate 5 training classes:
- 1st class for desktop users (2-3 hour duration): use of PC, printer, internet, 3rd party software
- 1st class for tablet and laptop users (2-3 hour duration): use of tablet, printer, internet and 3rd party software
- 2nd class for all users (4 hour duration): introduction to interfaceMD
- 3rd class for all users (4 hour duration): review of each database
- Break in training to allow completion of customization and end-user self-acclimation period
- 4th class for all users (4 hour duration): review customized business process of interfaceMD
- 5th class for all users (4 hour duration): review of advanced features of interfaceMD
interfaceMD Installation & Setup
- Sign HIPAA Business Associate Agreement
- Sign any practice partnership agreement forms
- Sign service & licensing agreements prior to subscription commencing
- Setup organization within interfaceMD environment
- Setup databases on datacenter servers
- Test communication between datacenter and offices
- Setup & test replication and email for all users at all sites
- Install interfaceMD on all computers and test from each local office and each internet roaming location
- Replicate databases from datacenter to local replication pc’s and to local user desktops/tablets
- Setup & test daily backup to tape
- Setup & test active anti-virus and anti-spam scanning
- Incorporate Epocrates link
Customization
- Customer to determine where customization is required within interfaceMD. Staff to dedicate time to identify, document and test all customization.
