Our story begins…

A local doctor asked us to help him choose a practice management application. We graded 75 of the most popular applications and were disappointed to find the following similarities:

  • Developed in outdated DOS based environments
  • Very expensive with significant upfront costs and ongoing support fees
  • Required separate installations and fees for each practice's location
  • Practices with multiple locations could not share data with each other
  • Providers relied on faxing or mailing printed reports to share data
  • Multiple points of failure throughout the system
  • Updates were delivered annually
  • Users had to become computer experts
  • Focused primarily on billing

About Us

Established in 2001, we have used the combined experience in business and application development of our team to build a solution that will fit private medical practices of any size. Our application model includes a datacenter, office based employees, traveling employees and the electronic exchange of information wherever necessary. All aspects of interfaceMD can be customized for each practice because we know that a "canned solution" just doesn’t work.

Our president, Joel Kanick, was one the first HIPAA certified consultants in the northeastern U.S. He has ensured that our solution was built to match the present & future framework of the HIPAA legislation and has chosen technology components that will allow our solution to evolve as new HIPAA regulations are adopted and new technologies are developed.
